2000 BC Maians encounter life on Earth
1650 Maians encounter the Skedar near Delta Eridanus
1703 Elvis is born.
1917 Sir Richard Carrington is born.
1927 Dr. Sara Carrington (maiden name Leece) is born.
August 14th, 1945 Sir Richard founded “Secure Development International,” a scientific R&D firm specializing in cryptography and early computer technology. Secure Development’s contracts were primarily with the British and United States governments (though the company also provided safe, secure R&D facilities to other governments from time to time).
1946 Sir Richard Carrington is knighted 1946 for his cryptography and early computer work at Bletchley Park during World War II. Dr. Carrington (maiden name Leece) is 33 years of age and a respected academic.
October 7th, 1960 Daniel Carrington born in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, Scoltland. He is the son of Sir Richard Carrington and Dr. Sara Carrington.
May 17th, 1962 Eustace Caroll born in Oxford, England.
1964 Friedrich R. Murray is born.
November 7th, 1967 Dr. Thaddeus Killington Rose, eventual created of Canadian Superflu, is born in Huntington, Quebec.
April 28th, 1969 Jack Dark is born in Middletown, New York.
September 29th, 1970 Sir Richard Carrington dies in an automobile accident.
June 1st, 1976 Trent Easton born in Boston, Massachusetts.
November 27th, 1976 Zhang Li born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
1978 Daniel Carrington splits the family business in two, founding the Carrington Institute through the research and development half. His mother Dr. Sara Carrington continues the operations of the other half, leasing scientific facilities throughout the world to the British and US governments.
December 10th, 1983 Cassandra DeVries born in London, England.
1985 Daniel Carrington has first contact with Maian Ship orbiting above Earth. Putting forward a plan that would help both parties, resulting in accelerated contact between Humans and Maians. Having agreed that his plan was sound, and finding him to be a person of integrity, the Maians allowed Carrington to release their technology into the public domain through his considerable Research and Development holdings.
1987 Jack Dark graduates from high school and enlists in the United States Marine Corps., and reenlists after his first tour ends.
January 5th, 1988 Lawrence “Larry” Foster born.
1991 Trent Easton enters Loyola University at age 15.
January 19th, 1995 Trent Easton is hired as a cryptographer at the United States National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland.
February 2nd, 1995 Chandra Sekhar born in Detroit, Michigan.
1995 dataDyne Industries is founded by Zhang Li.
1997 Fed up with government bureaucracy, Trent Easton leaves the NSA voluntarily, accepting a position at Ellison Electronic Security, Inc., a subsidiary of dataDyne Industries.
October 4th, 1997 Mai Hem born in Hong Kong.
1999 The first emergence of antigravity technology is introduced to the world by the Carrington Institute.
March 18th, 2000 Joanna Dark born in Atlanta, Georgia.
2000 Maians encounter life on Earth. Seeing great potential they decide to let the primitive human race develop without their interference.
April 13th, 2000 Trent Easton is named to head up EES, Inc., a digital information security program contracted to the U.S. National Security Agency.
2006 The Skedar begin to scout Earth in an attempt to determine the location of their lost battle cruiser called Cetan which is eventually found on the bed of the Pacific Ocean.
November 2nd, 2006 Daniel Carrington contacts dataDyne Corp. with the intent of collaborating on computer research. The response is favorable and negotiations begin, only to be abruptly broken off by dataDyne who announce that they will proceed on their own.
2007 Trent Easton named Deputy Director of NSA.
2010 dataDyne Corp. announces fully optical quantum computing.
2012 Industrial spy breaks into Carrington Institute.
January 3rd, 2016 A deadly super-influenza virus strikes Canada; Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto are the primary epicenters. The Canadian economy suffers a near-collapse, and for several years is supported by United Nations and United States subsidies. dataDyne Corp. is instrumental in developing and releasing a vaccine that immunizes successfully against the virus.
March, 2016 A Dr. named Friedrich Murray creates a vaccine putting a hault to the Canadian super-flu that, in the end, killed 37,364,211 people.
2017 First anti-gravity vehicles appear.
January 1st, 2018 Trent Easton named Director of NSA.
September 3rd, 2018 dataDyne Corp. introduces DeathMatch, a competitive play, interactive Virtual Reality combat game/sport, as mass entertainment.
August 1st, 2018 dataDyne Corp. wins the contract to supply the United States Army with a standard-issue assault rifle, nicknamed the Dragon.
April, 2020 Jack Dark dies.
January 17th, 2021 Georg Bricker, CEO of Zentek, is killed by a woman disguised as Joanna Dark. His death is annouced to the public as a hiking accident.
